Mohsin Raza

I am pursuing a PhD in Physics advised by Ivan Deutsch and co-advised by Niklas Mueller at the Center for Quantum Information and Control (CQuIC). Previously, I completed a Bachelor’s of Science in Physics at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) advised by Adam Zaman Chaudhry. I can be contacted at mraza98@unm.edu.
My current research focuses on understanding how noise impacts quantum systems. I am working on quantum-to-classical transitions of quantum systems, both in the physical sense (regression to classical dynamics), and in computational (regression to efficient classical computation). I am also working on creating robust and scalable benchmarks for noisy quantum computation. I am broadly interested in various aspects quantum simulation, open quantum systems and quantum resources (entanglement and magic). My work is listed in chronological order below.
